Highlights from my weekend on the road with a pop star

Today I’m starting a new video series, “VOXXBODY On The Road”. I’ll be posting highlights of VOXXBODY training sessions that I conduct with my celebrity colleagues, friends, and fellow performers. Hopefully, these videos will help to better demonstrate how useful and fun VOXXBODY can be to you. In this first video, I spent a few days with my good friend, former student and international pop star Alice Merton. She’s currently on a European festival tour and will start her US tour in the fall.

Who is Alice Merton?

Alice and the guys have been continuously touring since the release of her breakout hit “No Roots,” which has topped the charts in both Europe and the USA. She reached the number one spot on the Billboard Alternative Rock charts and recently received the ECHO Award (the German equivalent of the Grammy) for Best National Artist. Alice and I met when she was a student at the University of Popular Music & Business (Popakademie) in Mannheim, Germany. I was her vocal instructor during her junior year, and we had a great working relationship. She always impressed me with her talent as a musician, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. Teaching VOXXBODY to Alice and the band was a lot of fun. It’s an especially efficient workout for musicians who are on the road for long periods of time. They all seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. I hope you like this highlight video!
